The Russian government has offered one million (Russian Rubles) to women who will give birth and raise 10 children. The decision was taken while considering the declining population of Russia.

The famous “Mother Heroine” is an honorary title given to those women for bearing extensive families. The award was awarded to women for bearing and raising 10 children along with providing other basic privileges like pension, food supply, and an amount granted for utility charges.

Till now more than four lakh women were awarded the title. In recent times, President, Vladimir Putin has revived the title and offered a sum of 1 million. The step was taken after a decline in the Russian population since its invasion of Ukraine.

Furthermore, women will pass an assessment test that is not disclosed. The title however was first established by Joseph Stalin as to the huge population was lost during the world war. The honor, however, is no less than any high-ranking award in Russia.
