PIA has launched executive lounge at Lahore Airport

The Federal Minister of railways and aviation, Khawaja Saad Rafique inaugurated the executive lounge of PIA at Allama Iqbal International Airport. The executive lounge took almost ten years to complete.

Apart from Lahore Airport, The executive lounge at Karachi airport has renovated. A320 Airbus has also launched for pilot training. The lounge services of PIA will be available for PIA business class travelers only. It will offer refreshments free of cost. The facilities are launching in the coming week.

Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that if everyone keeps on working with honest determination then PIA will get its lost charm back. He also complimented the staff and administration of PIA for their efforts to improve costumer’s comfort.

PIA is operating 25 airplanes. The figure is expected to rise by 28. Moreover, PIA’s aircraft has expanded. Whereas, seats of Airbus A320S and Boeing 777 planes are updated too. Minister has claimed that the domestic Airports will remain closed while there is work on a process for PIA improvisations. He also stated that the staff will go overseas only on a merit basis and the reference system has been eradicated.

At the event of the inauguration ceremony, Air Vice-Marshal Amir Hayat was presented. While, CEO of PIA, Chief project officer, Amanullah Qureshi, General Manager Tariq Majeed, and other top executives attended the event.
