Hungary announces to veto EU sanctions against Russia’s nuclear energy sector

Hungary has announced to veto any European Union sanctions against Russia’s nuclear energy sector.

Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on state radio that Hungary will not allow the plan to include nuclear energy in the sanctions to be implemented.

Ukraine has called on the 27-nation bloc to include the Russian state nuclear energy company Rosatom in its sanctions.
