Pakistani star Mahira Khan revealed on Instagram that she had a close brush with death while riding a horse recently. She also shared her profound love for the mountains and how they inspire her to have faith and humility. She thanked those who helped her during the accident and expressed her gratitude for being alive.
Mahira wrote on Instagram that she had a very bad accident on a horse and that she was grateful to those who took care of her. She said, “I also survived a very bad accident on this horse. If any of those who helped me are reading this, I’m so grateful for the way you took care of me. Grateful to be alive.”
The actor also described her special bond with the mountains and how they make her feel calm and hopeful. She said, “It’s a strange connection I feel to the mountains. It’s like they talk to you, reminding you of how far you can go yet how small you are. A sense of [tranquillity]…of faith – no matter how rough it gets it will all be okay so long as you’re surrounded by those who love you, those whom you love.”
According to some reports, Mahira fell from the horse while riding and suffered some injuries. Mahira was taken to a nearby hospital where she received medical attention. She was discharged after a few hours and resumed her trip. She did not disclose the details of her injuries or the accident.
Mahira’s fans and followers were concerned about her well-being and sent her prayers and wishes on social media. They also praised her for being brave and adventurous.
