As of late, news has been circulating about Khushi Kapoor, daughter of late Bollywood icon Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, gearing up to share the screen with Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan, and Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan.

However, recent clarifications from Pakistani actor Junaid Khan have made the situation all the more perplexing and, admittedly, a bit hilarious.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, Junaid shared the news from a portal that had mistakenly used his image instead of Aamir's son's. The former Call frontman addressed the speculation, stating that while he appreciates the opportunity for cross-border collaborations, the reports linking him to the films alongside Khushi Kapoor are mistaken.

Junaid clarified that his name may have been confused with that of the Indian superstar's son, but he wished for open borders to facilitate such collaborations. "For all those asking if this is true! They must have confused me with Aamir Khan's son! But I really truly wish that our borders were open for cross collaborations like it once was!" said Junaid on his IG Stories.

Nonetheless, Khushi's burgeoning career continues to generate excitement, with two highly anticipated film projects on the horizon, as per indian media. Following her debut in The Archies, Khushi will star in the upcoming romantic comedy titled Naadaniyaan, produced by Dharma Productions, wherein she will share the screen with Ibrahim Ali Khan.

Additionally, Khushi is slated to star opposite rising Indian star Junaid Khan in the Hindi remake of Love Today, which is scheduled to commence filming in the upcoming summer. Given the lukewarm response her debut project received, the starlet has a lot to prove, and one can assume that she is gearing up for the same.

As fans eagerly await the release of these films, Pakistanis can rest easy, now that our Junaid has dispelled all fake news. However, his statement is one that must be given weight to, given that he shed light on the spirit of cross-border collaboration that once was, but is a rarity in modern sociopolitical times.
