Nasir JamshedNasir Jamshed was born on December 6, 1989. He is a Pakistani young & talented cricketer. He is an attacking left-handed opening batsman who likes to hit boundaries. Jamshed made his first class debut at the age of only 15 and was soon chosen to the Pakistan Under-19 cricket team for a series against Sri Lanka where he scored 204 in the second innings on his debut. In his first appearance against the Zimbabweans he opened the batting and smashed 61 off just 48 deliveries which saw him win the Man of the Match award. In his second ODI, he scored 74 off 64 balls, becoming only third Pakistani to make successive half centuries in first and second matches.

In Asia Cup 2008, Nasir Jamshed hit two 50's in the two matches he played. From these amazing performances, he has actually fortifying his position as an opener in the Pakistani ODI squad. Throughout the Asia Cup 2008 his fitness was questioned by the commentators. On 4 April 2010, he was jailed on cheating in tenth grade examinations of English. He played only 12 ODI’s for Pakistan, scoring 353 runs with batting average of 35.30 including 4 50’s. His highest score is 74. He has an ability to score quick runs and happily his name in included in Pakistan team for Asia Cup 2012. He also played in Bangladesh Premier League BPL, 2011/12 for Chittagong Kings where he was perfect with his batting, scored 328 runs in 10 matches including 3 50’s.

Nasir Jamshed is a talented player and he never loose confidence to play any bowler of the world. I pray for his success and also request to PCB may not loss this asset of Pakistan. I want to clarify that I listen during the commentary that Nasir Jamshed basically belong to Chakwal, Is it true.
