Coronavirus in Pakistan: Anwar Maqsood tests positive for COVID-19

The veteranhost and scriptwriter Anwar Maqsood has contracted the Coronavirus. However, hehas quarantined himself after tested positive for COVID-19.

As perreports, he has requested his fans to pray for his health. Ahmed Shah, the Presidentof Arts Council of Pakistan, updated well-wishers about his health. He said thatAnwar Maqsood undergone multiple tests and has been advised by doctors to rest.Earlier this month, he was seen during the 13th International Urdu Conferenceat Karachi.

Anwar, 85,is a prominent name in Pakistan’s showbiz and literary circles. He wroteseveral hits during his career as the talk show host, scriptwriter, and humorist.
