Sindh Transport Minister Owais Qadir Shah informs Sindh government is planning to launch a new bus project in Karachi.
Transport Department has received funds for the inter-city bus project, Said Transport Minister. The process of procuring 250 diesel hybrid buses is almost complete.
It is expecting that the buses will arrive in four months. However they will be operate on seven routes in first phase.
He added that four bus depots would be allotted for the operation.
Along with Orange Line and Red Line rapid progress, other transport projects are also underway.
Turkish Public Transport Company’s representatives arrived in Karachi. They toured the bus department in UP Mor and inspected the bus routes.
