The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday announced that Pakistani captain Babar Azam ranked number one in ODI and T20 rankings.
Babar finished off his incredible and electrifying 2021 journey with a number 1 spot in two cricket formats.
His legacy is being crafted across all three formats but his talent shone brightest in 2021’s shortest format.
Babar scored 939 runs with a strike rate of 127.58, according to the ICC.
On the other hand, Batsman Mohammad Rizwan, who is also Babar’s opening partner, has climbed up to spot number three of the ICC men T20 rankings.
The pair has made 1380 runs together in 2021 with an average partnership of 57.50.
