E-Stamping System to begin in Sindh

Syed Murad Ali Shah, Sindh’s chief minister on Tuesday initiated the E-Stamping system in Sindh. In a ceremony at CM house attended by several Ministers including Revenue Minister Makhdoom Mehboob, senior member board of revenue, senior member board of revenue, chief secretary and the president of National Bank, and others.

The E stamping is lauched in collaboration by the Punjab Information Technology Board, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), and the Board of Revenue Government of Sindh. CM Sindh said that Stamp duty has been reduced. He said, “We need to involve technology to generate revenues”.

He said the E stamp challan can be acquired from National Bank. The initiative was to generate revenue for the province under PPP’s government. Shah has shown several stats in comparison with Punjab Revenue and desires to achieve the target set by PPP. 

E- Stamp requires a stable internet connection. To acquire stamp paper either judicial or non-judicial. The person has to provide the relevant data according to the purchase. The value will automatically be calculated by the system shared to person. CNIC numbers are to be provided by the buyer, seller, and purchaser. Within 15 minutes E-stamp will be assigned to the person.
