Karachi’s Chief Meteorologist, Sardar Sarfaraz, has briefed about Karachi weather updates. He indicated a potential decrease in the intensity of heat in the city starting tomorrow.

In an interview with News Channel, Sardar Sarfaraz highlighted that Karachi has been experiencing high temperatures lately. However, there is a likelihood of reduced heat intensity from tomorrow, with temperatures expected to drop by one to two degrees Celsius.

He explained that Karachi weather is currently experiencing mild maritime winds, albeit at a low speed. The resurgence of maritime winds can contribute to a decline in temperature.

In addition to the anticipated decrease in heat, Karachi is also bracing itself for some much-needed rainfall. According to the Chief Meteorologist, the weather forecast for the coming days indicates a chance of light to moderate rainfall from the 7th to the 8th of July. The rain is expected to bring a welcome respite from the sweltering conditions and provide a refreshing change for the city’s residents. However, it is on the 9th of July that some areas of Karachi might experience more intense showers, potentially leading to heavy rainfall in localized regions.

Sardar Sarfaraz mentioned about Karachi Weather updates that the monsoon system is currently active in Central India, and monsoon winds are expected to reach Sindh either on the night of 6th July or the morning of 7th July.
