Commemorative banknote featuring Quaid-e-Azam and Fatima Jinnah unveiled
In a significant ceremony held today, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) celebrated its 75th anniversary by launching a unique commemorative banknote valued at Rs. 75.
Governor SBP Jameel Ahmed, in his address, emphasized the immense importance of this day and announced the one-time release of the special Rs. 75 note to mark the occasion.
The front of the newly unveiled banknote proudly features the portrait of Quaid-e-Azam, symbolizing his influential role in shaping the nation’s history. On the reverse side, the image of Fatima Jinnah, a prominent figure in Pakistan’s struggle for independence, graces the note.
Noteworthy is the incorporation of windmills on the Rs. 75 banknote, symbolizing the significance of alternative energy sources and promoting sustainable practices.
The banknote also showcases the architectural grandeur of the SBP building through elegant calligraphy, adding a touch of artistic flair to the design.
