As per the news, Peugeot-the French carmaker has increased the prices of its 2008 SUV models in Pakistan. The price hike comes after Kia raised its prices recently. The new prices of the Peugeot 2008 SUVs are effective from July 5.
In Pakistan, Peugeot 2008 SUVs are available in two variants: Active and Allure. The Active variant has a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine with a six-speed automatic transmission. The Allure variant has the same engine but with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Both variants have features such as LED headlights, a panoramic sunroof, a digital instrument cluster, and a touchscreen infotainment system.

Peugeot entered the Pakistani market last year with three SUV models: 2008, the 3008, and the 5008. However, only the 2008 model has been launched so far. The other two models are expected to be launched soon. Peugeot is competing with other carmakers such as Kia, MG, Haval, Chery, and Changan in the SUV segment.
Sources said Peugeot has raised the prices of its 2008 SUV models in Pakistan by up to Rs. 220,000. The price hike is due to various economic and market factors that have affected the car industry. Remember that. it is one of the latest entrants in the Pakistani market and aims to capture a share of the growing SUV segment.
