As per the news, this year’s Hajj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia can now obtain a certificate for their Hajj online. The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched a service that allows pilgrims to download and print their certificates from the Nusuk app. This app offers different designs and languages for certificates, which can obtained for free.

The certificate service is part of the ministry’s efforts to improve efficiency of its services for the pilgrims. Hajj Pilgrims numbered about 1.8 million this year, according to Saudi officials. The ministry also provided other digital services, such as electronic visas, smart cards, and bracelets, to facilitate the pilgrimage process.

Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam. It is a once-in-a-lifetime duty for all able-bodied Muslims who can afford it. It is a spiritual journey that involves performing various rituals in and around the holy city of Mecca, following the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad and the prophets Abraham and Ishmael.

The Hajj takes place in the Islamic month of Dhul-Hijjah, which shifts 10-12 days earlier each year according to the lunar calendar. This year, the Hajj started on June 26 and ended on July 1st. The next Hajj expected to start on June 18, 2023, depending on the sighting of the moon.

The Hajj followed by Eid al-Adha, or the Feast of the Sacrifice, which commemorates Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son Ishmael as an act of obedience to God. Eid al-Adha celebrated by Muslims around the world by offering prayers, slaughtering animals, and sharing food with family and friends.

Pilgrims who completed the Hajj this year can download their certificates from the Nusuk app by following these steps:
