In the midst of the monsoon season, Pakistan experiences ongoing rainfall across various regions, with Karachi also witnessing continuous clouds and rain over the past 48 hours.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts today’s weather in Islamabad to be partly cloudy, with the possibility of scattered clouds. There is also a likelihood of rain accompanied by strong winds in the capital city.

Over the next 24 hours, Islamabad is expected to remain cloudy, with potential thunderstorms and rainfall accompanied by lightning, as per the latest update from the PMD. Meanwhile, the department has already released rainfall statistics for the past 24 hours in Karachi.

During this period, Surjani Town recorded the highest rainfall, with a total of 100 millimeters. Other areas in Karachi also experienced significant rainfall, including Saddar Town with 58 millimeters, Gulshan-e-Maymar with 54 millimeters, University Road with 52 millimeters, and North Karachi with 51 millimeters.

In the same 24-hour timeframe, other regions in Karachi received substantial rainfall as well. Orangi recorded 43 millimeters of rainfall, Jinnah Terminal received 31 millimeters, Gulshan Hadeed saw 24 millimeters, while the Old Airport reported 23 millimeters of rainfall.
