Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has revealed plans to auction valuable gifts received during his term in the Toshakhana. The proceeds from this auction will be exclusively directed toward the welfare of orphaned children. Sharif made this announcement while interacting with media representatives, including the CPNE, APNS, and PBA, just hours before signing the National Assembly’s dissolution summary.

Highlighting the importance of supporting vulnerable children, Sharif stated, “All proceeds from the auction of Toshakhana gifts, valued at millions of rupees, will be dedicated to orphanages, educational institutions, and medical facilities. This initiative aims to provide crucial support to orphans facing life’s challenges.”

Discussing his government’s economic challenges inherited from the previous administration, Sharif emphasized efforts to mend diplomatic ties and secure an IMF agreement, preventing an economic crisis. He called for unity and hard work to alleviate the country’s debts.

Addressing international relations, he acknowledged the link between support from friendly nations and the IMF deal, noting Saudi Arabia’s willingness to invest. Sharif highlighted the role of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) as a potential economic game-changer.

Sharif aims to send the National Assembly dissolution summary to the president, expressing hope for the next administration to continue efforts to eliminate the country’s debt burden. Following the Assembly’s dissolution, the chief election commissioner will determine the election’s course.

In essence, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s auction plan reflects a commitment to social welfare, diplomatic mending, and economic resurgence.
