In an update from the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Karachi residents can anticipate partly cloudy weather with a chance of light rain or drizzle over the next two days. The weather outlook is attributed to weak moist currents from the Arabian Sea, reaching the upper parts of Pakistan, along with the presence of a westerly wave in the northern regions.
Throughout most districts of the province, the prevailing conditions are expected to bring about predominantly hot and humid weather, accompanied by gusts of wind that might raise dust. In particular, Karachi is forecasted to experience partly cloudy skies on Thursday night, followed by light rain or drizzle on both Friday and Saturday.
For temperature ranges in Karachi, Friday’s maximum is projected to reach between 30°C and 32°C, while Saturday could see a slightly warmer range of 31°C to 33°C.
The past 24 hours have seen hot and humid conditions across most parts of Sindh, with Dadu registering the highest temperature at a scorching 41°C. Karachi itself reached a maximum temperature of 31°C, while relative humidity during the evening was measured at 68%.
