The Meteorological Department of Pakistan has released its predictions for the weather conditions expected in the next 24 hours. According to their forecasts, diverse weather patterns are anticipated across different regions of the country.
In most of the plains, citizens can expect warm and humid conditions to prevail. However, for the mountainous areas, a different story unfolds. The forecast suggests that a few pockets of these regions might experience intense gusts of wind and dramatic thunderstorms.
The Meteorological Department’s analysis indicates that the upcoming 24-hour period will see consistent warm and humid weather in the majority of the plains. Nevertheless, in certain parts of the northeastern Punjab, Kashmir, and the adjoining hilly terrains, residents should brace themselves for strong winds and potentially striking thunderstorms.
Looking back at the past 24 hours, the Meteorological Department reported that much of the nation encountered warm and humid weather. Notably, the highest recorded rainfall was observed in various locales, including Lahore (specifically Nishtar Town, Johar Town 15, Allama Iqbal Town, Gulberg Office 03, and Upper Mall 02).
Additional regions were also affected by varying levels of precipitation, such as Shamsabad, Iqbal Town, Qartaba Chowk, and Lakshmi Chowk. Moreover, Narowal, Sialkot City, and Faisalabad (with a focus on GMA Water Works) experienced differing intensities of rainfall, measuring at 04 millimeters. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Charsadda noted 12 millimeters of rainfall, while Balochistan’s Barkhan received a total of 04 millimeters.
