In an exciting development, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, the esteemed Mayor of Karachi, officially inaugurated the highly-anticipated dinosaur park at Safari Park. This groundbreaking event marks the establishment of the city’s first-ever state-of-the-art dinosaur park, a remarkable addition to Karachi’s cultural and educational landscape.

Covering a vast acreage, the new dinosaur park showcases modern innovation and edutainment. Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab expressed excitement, emphasizing its role as an educational hub providing insights into the prehistoric era. This ambitious project establishes Karachi’s foremost destination for understanding dinosaurs, suitable for families and students.

The park’s main attraction is its lifelike animated dinosaur exhibits, offering an immersive experience for all ages. Eleven carefully crafted dinosaur replicas take visitors back in time, while a prominent dinosaur structure adds excitement and learning for both kids and adults.

A highlight of this project is its collaborative nature. The Sindh government donated Rs100 million, and the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) led the development. This partnership underlines how public-private collaboration enriches the city’s attractions.

Mayor Wahab also provided insights into upcoming attractions, revealing that the zip line project set to become operational in the near future. This promises to add an exhilarating dimension to the park’s adventure-driven atmosphere.

In light of recent incidents involving the theft of park infrastructure, Mayor Wahab expressed his concern about the brazen theft of grills and fences by professional thieves. He acknowledged the need for greater vigilance and the implementation of effective security measures.

Additionally, addressing a persistent problem, the Mayor proposed a proactive solution. A factory has set up to produce durable sewer covers, aiming to resolve the ongoing challenges linked to open manholes and sewer issues in Karachi.

Karachi’s new dinosaur park promotes education, entertainment, and culture. The attraction invites all to explore the prehistoric world in the city.
