Streak was one of Zimbabwe’s most celebrated sporting figures throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. He represented Zimbabwe in 65 Tests and 189 ODIs, scoring 4933 runs and taking 455 wickets for his country.After retiring in 2005, he served in coaching roles for several teams at domestic and international level, including Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and the Kolkata Knight Riders.In 2021, Streak was dealt an eight-year ban after being charged with five breaches of the ICC’s anti-corruption code. Earlier this year, he revealed he was undergoing treatment for cancer.
