Karachi People Bus Service: Red Bus R11 Routes, Timings, and Fares

The Sindh government has unveiled the “Peoples Bus Service,” a groundbreaking development to enhance public transportation in Karachi. This addition to the city’s transport infrastructure promises to revolutionize commuting for its residents.

The People’s Bus Service offers air-conditioned red buses, each with around 40 seats and designated areas for women. These buses also have room for around 40 standing passengers, ensuring accessibility and comfort. Most routes have a standard fare of PKR 50, except for Route 9, which charges PKR 100 after Malir Halt.

Convenient Operating Hours and Schedules

To accommodate the diverse needs of Karachi’s population, the People’s Bus Service will be operational from 7 am to 10 pm. During peak hours, buses will arrive at stations every 15 minutes, providing a frequent and reliable service. During off-peak hours, the waiting time will be extended to 30 minutes, allowing for flexibility in scheduling.

Route 11: Shireen Jinnah Colony to Miran Nakka Lyari (19 km)

Route 11 is a vital component of the People’s Bus Service, spanning 19 kilometers and linking Shireen Jinnah Colony with Miran Nakka Lyari. It passes through significant city landmarks such as Bilawal Chowrangi, 26th Street, Khadda Market, Gizri Road, Submarine Chowk, Eidgah Clifton, PIDC, Haji Camp, US Consulate General, M.T. Khan Road, Mauripur, Keamari, and Lyari.

What Route 11 Offers

Route 11, spanning 19 kilometers, connects Shireen Jinnah Colony and Miran Nakka Lyari.
