Amna Ilyas reveals her mother embraced Islam for marriage

Amna Ilyas recently participated in Fariha Altaf’s podcast, where she candidly discussed various aspects of her personal and career life.

In a video shared on Fariha Altaf’s Instagram, Amna Ilyas opened up for the first time about her family. She shared that she has four sisters, and the eldest one tragically passed away at the age of 20 due to heart failure. During that time, her father also passed away when she was just four years old.

According to her, her father originally belonged to Multan, Punjab, and worked in the herbal medicine business. Meanwhile, her mother was a nurse, and they both met in Karachi, Sindh, where they got married.

She mentioned that her mother embraced Islam for marriage, but after her husband’s demise, his family cut ties with her. Amna Ilyas’ mother faced hardships and challenges but continued her career as a nurse, providing a good education and courageously facing all difficulties to raise her children.

Amna Ilyas expressed that her mother faced severe difficulties and adversities. As a nurse, she pursued her career, ensuring excellent education and resiliently coping wih all challenges in raising her children, showcasing remarkable courage and determination
