Punjab CM Mohsin Naqvi elected unopposed as PCB chairman

Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi was elected unopposed as the 37th chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board for a three-year term.

According to a PCB press release, the announcement came after the PCB’s Board of Governors meeting in Lahore today.

Speaking to board members, the newly elected Chairman said that he is deeply honoured and humbled to have been unanimously elected as the Chairman of the PCB.

Mohsin Naqvi said, he is thankful for trust and confidence of the board.

The Chairman said that he is fully committed to upgrading standard of game in the country and bringing professionalism in administration of Cricket in Pakistan.

Later on, Mohsin Naqvi visited the National Cricket Academy and inspected ongoing renovation work.
