UN suspends movement of aid at night in Gaza after Kitchen staff’s killing

The United Nations has decided to temporarily halt its night-time humanitarian aid efforts in Gaza to evaluate security issues following the killing of staff working for the world central kitchen food charity, during Israeli air strikes.

United Nations spokesperson Stephane Dujarric in a news breifing in New York said, the daytime operations will continue to get food aid convoys into northern Gaza.

Meanwhile, at least 32,975 Palestinians have been martyred and 75,577 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7 last year.
