King Kohli opens up about his mental health

Former Indian cricket team captain, Virat Kohli has surfaced on social media for bearing criticism over his lost cricket form. Indians mocked Kohli for his poor performance in Twenty20 World Cup.

Kohli known for various reasons in the Indian team has always escalated his team to maximum heights. Kohlis achievement has broken numeorus records. He won awards like Padma Shri (highest civilian award in India), Arjuna Award for Cricket, ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year, and others.

He is one of the finest, top-notched, and most deserving batsman of this era. However, he was seen struggling with critics over his performance. Kohli has now opened up about his tough times with mental health in his career. The 33-year-old cricket has established a reputation for commendable batting in ODI, IPL, and T20Is.

He said in an interview to the Indian newspaper, about his pressurizing career and its dire effects on mental health. He said, he faced loneliness in a room full of people who support and love him. Further he said it is a critical issue and the more we try to be strong, the more we are apart. Kohli added that for athletes it is crucial to take some rest from the ongoing pressure of sports and reunite with oneself.
