In the ICC Women's T-20 World Cup, India defeated Pakistan by seven wickets at Cape Town on Sunday.

Batting first, Pakistan scored 149 runs for the loss of four wickets in allotted 20 overs.

Bismah Maroof with 68 runs not out and Ayesha Naseem with 43 runs not out remained the main scorers for Pakistan.

In reply, India achieved the target in 19 overs for the loss of three wickets.  

Indian player Jemimah Rodrigues, who remained not out on 53 runs, was declared player of the match.

The sixth match of the tournament will be played between Ireland and England at Paarl, South Africa, on Monday
