Pakistan’s top-ranked bowler position has been claimed by Haris Rauf after climbing five spots in the ICC Men’s T20I rankings.
Haris Rauf’s remarkable performance against New Zealand earned him ten wickets in just three matches, including two four-wicket hauls, and secured him the Player of the Match award in the first game of the series. These achievements helped him rise five spots in the ICC Men’s T20I rankings, placing him in the 11th position and achieving a career-best rating.
Haris Rauf’s impressive show in the ongoing T20I series against New Zealand has resulted in him surpassing Shadab Khan in the ICC Men’s T20I Bowler Rankings to become Pakistan’s highest-ranked bowler currently. Furthermore, his outstanding performance has put him in a position to possibly enter the top 10 rankings by the end of the series.
Shaheen Shah Afridi also improved, climbing two spots in the rankings to further establish himself as one of Pakistan’s elite bowlers.
The top three bowlers for Pakistan, Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi, are ranked 11th, 13th, and 15th in the current list.
