Sri Lanka beats Netherlands in World Cup Qualifier Final

Sri Lanka won the World Cup Qualifier final by 128 runs against the Netherlands on Sunday, extending their unbeaten streak in the tournament. The Lankan Lions dominated both with the bat and the ball, as they posted 233 and bowled out the Dutch side for 105 at the Harare Sports Club.

The star of the show was Sahan Arachchige, who scored his maiden ODI fifty with 57 off 71 balls. He anchored the Sri Lankan innings after they lost early wickets and helped them reach a competitive total. He was well supported by Dasun Shanaka, who made 39 off 34 balls.

The Netherlands never looked comfortable in their chase, as they lost wickets at regular intervals. Dilshan Madushanka was the pick of the bowlers, taking 3 for 19 in his seven overs. He was ably assisted by Wanindu Hasaranga and Mahesh Theeksana, who took two wickets each.

Madushanka was adjudged the Player of the Match for his brilliant bowling performance. Both Sri Lanka and the Netherlands have qualified for the World Cup, which will be held in India later this year. The Netherlands eliminated Windies from the race.

The World Cup will feature 10 teams, who will play 45 matches from October to November. The top four teams will advance to the semifinals, and the final will be played on November 19.
