Motorcycle Entry Ban in Islamabad Red Zone Areas During Muharram

In a significant move to bolster security and safeguard the well-being of citizens and critical government installations, the Islamabad Police has introduced stringent measures by prohibiting motorcycle entry into the highly sensitive Red Zone.

This decision is part of a comprehensive effort by the authorities to reinforce security protocols within the area. Starting from today until 12 Muharram, motorcycles will not be allowed access to the Red Zone, as announced by a police spokesperson.

With the aim of ensuring easy access for citizens while adhering to the temporary ban, a reliable shuttle service has been launched from three designated points: Serena Chowk, Parade Avenue, and Nadra Chowk.

The police spokesperson underscored the paramount importance of this temporary restriction in safeguarding the safety of all individuals visiting or residing in the Red Zone. This ban will be strictly enforced to prevent any unauthorized entry and effectively neutralize potential security threats.

By implementing these measures, the Islamabad Police is dedicated to maintaining a secure environment in the Red Zone and upholding the well-being of its residents and visitors. The move reflects the authorities’ commitment to employing innovative strategies for optimal safety and protection.
