Ramadan Moon Sighting 2021 In Bangladesh: Meeting Will Be Held Today

Meeting for Ramadan moon sighting in Bangladesh will take place on 13th April 2021 (today).

The National Moon Sighting Committee of Bangladeshwill announce the start date of the Ramadan after holding a meeting on Tuesday.However, the meeting will be presided over by Md Faridul Haque Khan, the stateminister for religious affairs.

If a Ramadan crescent moon appears anywhere in Bangladesh, citizens are asked to report their findings to their local deputy commissioner or district officer or contact the authorities.

Ramadan, considered the most pious month by Muslims across the world, will begin in Bangladesh on Wednesday. The month-long festival, also widely known as Ramzan, is celebrated every ninth month of the Islamic calendar and it begins once the crescent moon is sighted.
