Kyrgyzstan Tourist Visas For Pakistan And India Are Suspended

Kyrgyzstan suspended the issuance of tourist visas for Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and India.

Four countrieshave been taken off from the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry’s visa regime informationlist. Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and India has suspended to allow technicalwork on the e-Visa portal in order to control security and law and order issues.

Earlier,citizens of above stated South Asian countries were eligible for e-visas andon-arrival visas.

This stephas taken amid deteriorating security situation in Afghanistan, followed by therapid overthrow of the Afghan government.

Kyrgyzstanpromised to issue 500 student visas to Afghans, but complied with the offerwithout taking any concrete action to implement the offer.

Somebusiness Pakistanis found a job via Kyrgyzstan, where they could travelrelatively easily could travel to Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is to ease somerestrictions on direct travel, for vaccinated people (in Saudi Arabia) and havea residence permit.
