The first global festival in the Middle East, Expo 2020 Dubai, opened on Thursday with a spectacular event. It started with amazing fireworks, music. It convey the message of the power of global cooperation for a more sustainable future.
The opening stars of the ceremony projected in public places around the UAE, included Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, British singer Eli Golding, Saudi singer Mohamed Abdu and Chinese pianist Lang Lang.
Dubai, the region’s tourism, trade and business hub, hopes to boost its economy. Expo 2020 attracting a global fair of 25 million business and tourists, built from the start in the 4.3-square-kilometer desert.

The complete expo site will open its doors to exhibitors from around 200 countries. It will happen on Friday after a year-long delay due to epidemics. Selected eight years ago to follow the 2015 Expo in Milan, Italy, the event cost about 6. 6.8 billion.
Prior to the outbreak, consultancy EY had predicted that the expo would contribute 1.5% to the UAE’s GDP during its six months.
