The British Government has announced to recognize the Coronavirus NADRA vaccination certificate for Pakistani travelers coming to UK.

Vaccination certificates will be valid only for approved COVID19 vaccines from the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). The UK’s top healthcare regulator includes Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Modern, and Johnson &. Johnson (J&J).

Pakistani passengers with approved COVID 19 vaccination card will get exemption from quarantine and testing requirements. It is effective under the ‘Amber List’ upon arrival in the UK.

As the Chinese Covid 19 vaccines are not approved by MHRA, passengers with the Chinese vaccines will have to be quarantine. They also have to undergo testing requirements.

WHO has approved Sinovac, CanSinoBIO and Sinofarm however, all three vaccines are not eligible to be approved by the MHRA.

UK government has also decided to recognize the MHRA-approved vaccine for passengers from 17 countries. Australia, New Zealand and Canada are included in the list.

The Chinese COVID-19 vaccine has not yet been recognized in the UK, so Pakistani travelers have been vaccinated to comply with the Amber List requirements upon landing in the country.
