British Government Announces To Remove 47 Countries From UK Red List

The United Kingdom has announced that it has removed 47 countries from UK red list.

British Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has announced that 47 countries have been removed from the red list of travel bans.

UPDATE: From Monday (11th Oct) I’ll be cutting 47 destinations from our red list – including South Africa, with just 7 countries and territories remaining – all others will be included in the “rest of world” category [1/3]

Vaccinated people from 47 countries would not have to be quarantined at the hotel, Shapps tweeted. However, these countries would not be included in red list from Monday.

Grant Shapps further inform that after 4 am on Monday, vaccine certificates from 37 countries, including Pakistan, will be accepted.

Passengers coming from these countries would not have to undergo PCR test.

It would be mandatory for all passengers to fill locator form.

on September 17 last month, the United Kingdom removed Pakistan from the red list.
