Two brilliant young software developers, Syed Umaid Ahmed, and Mohammad Hasan Khan, have unveiled a groundbreaking solution in response to the alarming surge in theft and snatching cases of sacrificial animals. Currently engaged in pioneering research at the esteemed FAST National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, they have created an exceptional application called Animal Passport. This revolutionary app aims to ensure the safety and security of sacrificed animals, particularly during the auspicious occasion of Eidul Azha.

Animal Passport harnesses the power of cutting-edge biometric technology, utilizing an animal’s unique physical characteristics for effective registration and identification. With the rampant instances of missing or stolen animals, the app’s state-of-the-art biometric system offers a simple and reliable method to locate and retrieve these beloved creatures.

Designed with user-friendliness in mind, the app operates through a streamlined process. Initial registration swiftly followed by a meticulous verification stage. To enroll an animal, the owner merely needs to capture a photograph of the animal’s muzzle and submit it via the app for registration.

By registering the animal’s image alongside the owner’s information, Animal Passport provides a comprehensive record. In the unfortunate event of a theft or sale, unsuspecting buyers can access the app to verify the animal’s authenticity. Upon viewing the animal’s photograph, the owner’s complete information instantly appears on the buyer’s mobile device, leaving no room for deception.

Umaid, a dedicated PhD candidate, was inspired to create this ingenious software when his beloved animal was tragically kidnapped. With the guidance of their esteemed professor, Umaid and Hasan embarked on the journey of developing this exceptional app.

The duo conducted extensive testing, examining 5,000 animal muzzle prints. They achieved an impressive accuracy rate of 99.9%. Umaid emphasized the app’s insurance claim function, enabling the identification and retrieval of deceased animals registered within the app. The Animal Passport represents the fusion of technology and compassion, employing advanced artificial intelligence algorithms.

These students worked tirelessly for 11 months, spending 7 months on rigorous testing and refining the app. Their commitment to animal welfare and technological innovation led to a remarkable solution. It has the potential to revolutionize pet and sacrificial animal safety.

The Animal Passport brings a new era of animal protection. It provides security and peace of mind for owners and enthusiasts. The app has groundbreaking features and high accuracy. It will be an essential tool for safeguarding our pets and preserving Eidul Azha celebrations.
