The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has made significant changes to its visa policy, no longer offering 90-day visit visas, while introducing one-month and two-month alternatives.

In a recent development, the United Arab Emirates has implemented a crucial change to its visa policy. Travel agents have officially confirmed that the issuance of 90-day visit visas has been discontinued. This means that travelers planning to visit the UAE will now have the option of obtaining one-month or two-month entry permits.

The UAE’s immigration authority’s helpline has also confirmed this update, stating that three-month visas are no longer available for visitors. An official source revealed that the option for a three-month entry permit was indeed available a couple of weeks ago, but it has since been discontinued.

It’s important to note that travel agencies are currently able to apply for 30-day and 60-day visas, providing travelers with flexible options for their visit to the UAE.

In May of this year, the UAE had reintroduced the 90-month scheme, specifically as a leisure visa for first-degree relatives of residents. This move aimed to facilitate family visits and strengthen familial bonds.

While the issuance of three-month visit visas for tourists has been halted, UAE residents can still bring their parents or relatives into the country on the three-month visit visa scheme, ensuring that family reunions can continue.

UAE Visa Fee Structure for 2023:

AED200 for a 2-month job exploration visa.AED300 for a 90-day visa.AED400 for a 120-day visa.Additionally, a financial guarantee of a security deposit of AED1,000 will be required for certain visa types.

These changes in UAE’s visa policy reflect the nation’s commitment to enhancing its visa offerings, aligning them with the evolving needs of travelers and residents. Travelers planning to visit the UAE should keep these updates in mind when applying for their visas to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience.
