The meeting was aimed at discussing matters of mutual interest and the security of Chinese citizens.

During the meeting, Minister Naqvi informed the consul general about the measures related to the security of Chinese citizens in Pakistan, especially in Karachi, and reiterated Pakistan's unwavering dedication to safeguarding the lives and interests of Chinese citizens in the country.

"The security of Chinese citizens is very dear to us," Naqvi assured, and emphasized that stringent standard operating procedures (SOPs) were being implemented to regulate the movement and protection of Chinese nationals.

"It is our duty to ensure foolproof security for Chinese citizens," he stressed.

Addressing concerns over potential security threats, Naqvi said the enemy was trying to harm the Pakistan-China friendship, while Pakistan would thwart any malicious attempts to undermine this longstanding friendship. He reaffirmed Pakistan's resolve to foil any conspiracy aimed at jeopardizing the strong bond of cooperation between the two nations.

"No conspiracy to damage the Pakistan-China friendship can succeed," the minister vowed.

In response, Consul General Yang Yundong expressed satisfaction with the comprehensive security plan outlined by Minister Naqvi. He lauded Pakistan's efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of Chinese citizens and underscored the importance of continued cooperation in maintaining a secure environment for all stakeholders.

Furthermore, Interior Secretary Khurram Agha, along with Chinese Consulate officials, participated in the deliberations.
