Saudi Arabia has announced to form a global coalition for implementation of the two-state solution of Palestine issue and establishing an independent Palestinian state.
The announcement was made by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan during a meeting of Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Norway in New York on the sidelines of UN General Assembly session. Prince Faisal said the initiative is a joint Arab and European effort to achieve an irreversible plan for just and comprehensive peace. The Global Alliance for the Implementation of the two-state solution will garner support for establishing an independent Palestinian state with its first meeting to be held in Riyadh.
