Heavy contingents of Police SHO New Town and SHO Sadiqabad reached deployed the Faisalabad.

Half the road leading to the Expressway is closed, while the other half remains open to traffic. Under the Faizabad bridge on the expressway, half the way has been closed by placing containers.

In related news, Jamaat-e-Islami has announced a sit-in at D-Chowk, prompting the Islamabad police and administration to mobilize. Late last night, many roads leading to the Red Zone, including D-Chowk, were sealed with containers.

Sources indicate that the Islamabad Police have begun placing containers on the internal and external routes of the federal capital. In response, the Islamabad Traffic Police have issued an alternative traffic plan to mitigate the disruptions.

Citizens are instructed to use the Korawalpindi Sadar route if Rawat Cross is closed.

Use the motorway if Peshawar GT Road is closed.

In case the Srinagar Highway G14 is closed, citizens should use Peshawar Road, GT Road, and Colonel Sher Khan Road. If Faizabad is closed, use Shahri Park Road and for zero point closure, use Faisal Avenue and Jinnah Avenue. If Serena Chowk is closed, use 7 Avenue and for Embassy Road closure, use Shaheed Millat Road.

Residents are advised to follow the alternative routes provided by the Islamabad Traffic Police to avoid inconvenience.
