Petrol price in Pakistan to remain unchanged in May: Miftah Ismail

Bol News  |  May 15, 2022

Finance Minister Miftah Ismail on Sunday announced that there will be no change in the petrol price in Pakistan in May.

Addressing a presser, the finance minister asked the people to stop forming queues at the petrol pumps in hot weather in fear that the rate could go up.

He said that the petrol price in Pakistan will be adjusted in the future.

Miftah Ismail said if the international oil prices are not going to reduce, the government will be compelled to increase the rates of petroleum products.

The minister said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif refused to increase the prices even though he had suggested it.

He said Imran Khan laid landmines, and they are bearing the brunt of it.
