Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed to ensure an uninterrupted supply of relief goods and food items to the flood victims.
He was chairing a meeting to review relief and rehabilitation activities for people in the flood-affected areas in Lahore on Saturday.
Prime Minister instructed to extend special cooperation to the provincial governments for the supply of edible and relief items so that the problems faced during the relief activities could be resolved.
While taking notice of the rising prices of food items in the wake of floods, Shehbaz Sharif directed for immediate resolution of problems in determining the prices of food items.
He ordered steps to resolve complaints regarding deductions from the cash assistance and delivery of relief items to the flood affectees.
The Prime Minister also directed the top authorities to complete the work to estimate the damage and destruction caused by the flood at the earliest.

During the meeting, a detailed briefing was given by the officials of the National Flood Response Coordination Center on the rehabilitation works in flood-affected areas across the country.
