Minimum Fine Raised to Rs 500

The minimum fine for traffic violations in the ICT has been set at Rs 500, emphasizing the importance of adhering to road regulations.

Speeding PenaltiesMotorcyclists caught overspeeding will face a fine of Rs 1,000.Motor car drivers exceeding speed limits will be fined Rs 1,500.Public service vehicle (PSV) operators found speeding will incur a fine of Rs 2,000.Heavy transport vehicle (HTV) drivers violating speed limits will face a fine of Rs 2,500.Other ViolationsA fine of Rs 1,500 will be imposed for the use of black-tinted windows.Irresponsible driving will result in a penalty of Rs 2,000.Underage drivers will be fined Rs 2,500 as a measure to deter this unsafe practice.Illegal parking will incur a fine of Rs 1,000.Those caught one-wheeling will face a substantial penalty of Rs 5,000.Driving Without a LicenseOperating a motorcycle without a valid driving license will result in a Rs 1,000 fine.Motor car drivers without proper licenses will be fined Rs 2,000.HTV and PSV operators lacking the required licenses will face an Rs 8,000 fine.
