Happiness is a state of mind, an emotion that surpasses our understanding and makes us feel light. Happiness can be found in fulfilling a goal, having favorite food, cozy mornings, or quality time with a loved one. There can be hundreds of reasons one can stay jolly. In particular, we have collected some of the ways that can help you stay happy a little longer.  

 1 – Find unhappy triggers 

Before finding various ways to stay happy, it is also important to find numerous ways that cause you to be unhappy. Unless one knows why he/she is unhappy one cannot determine happiness in life. Find what mode of thinking triggers emotions in you.

2. Set Goals and enjoy the simple joys of life

A man without a purpose is meaningless in life. Hence, the purpose is the driving force in us. Settings goals and achieving them time to time can result in bringing happiness. It brings simple joys in life to take profound pleasures in it. For instance, having a meal made by a loved one or spending time with grandma, or viewing old albums can make us delighted.

3. Staying Hopeful

The cult classic movie entitles us to remember how being hopeful in uncontrollable situations can make a difference. Hope means being optimistic. It is choosing positive over negative and working toward actions that produce positive outcomes.

4. Avoid comparing disease

Comparing oneself with another being is not just unfair but also psychological and spiritually damaging. Comparing creates feelings of inferiority and lack of confidence.

5. Never Limit Happiness to one source

Think about the various spheres of your life where happiness is found. Consider the positive aspects of your life at the moment if one area is disappointing you. We can be happier more frequently if we associate happiness with adaptable thinking and if we let ourselves make necessary mental and emotional changes.

There are several ways to cut down negative elements pulling us down and weighing us. Trying exercise that releases happy hormones from our body can be a good start or writing down one’s thoughts in a journal. Further, enjoying quality time with friends and family can also be a great source to expand one’s sphere of happiness circle.
