DHA Lahore National Boxing Championship from tomorrow

LAHORE - The DHA Lahore National Boxing Championship 2021 for Men (38th) and 2nd National Women Elite marked the return of competitive boxing to Pakistan. The event will kick off tomorrow (Tuesday) and will conclude on December 5. This was stated by officials of Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) and DHA Lahore on Sunday in a joint press briefing at Captain Fasih Babar Amin (Shaheed) Sports Complex, Phase 6, DHA, Lahore. Addressing the presser, PBF President Muhammad Khalid Mahmood and Secretary Lt Col (R) M Nasir Ijaz Tung thanked the DHA management for their relentless support and untiring efforts in organizing this championship. A total of 13 men teams including Pakistan Army, Navy, PAF, Wapda, Police and Railways will participate. While seven women teams Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, KP, AJK, Islamabad and GB will compete in a total of 153 bouts in different weight categories over five days during the event.
