Two abductees recovered after encounter in Khanpur

Shikarpur police have succeeded in getting two abductees released after an encounter with kidnappers took place in the riverine area of Khanpur.

As a result of continuous raids and exchange of fire with Tegahi and Jatoi bandits, the Shikarpur police recovered both the persons from the clutches of dacoits and police succeeded in arresting two alleged dacoits named Irslah and Anwar both by caste Jatoi and seized weapons recovered from their passion, in the limits of Naper kot police station.

It is worthwhile to mention here that police have intensified raids to release two abductees when a few armed assailants intercepted a Mazda vehicle and kidnapped a mazda driver and its cleaner from Kandhkot-Khanpur Indus highway when Mazda was heading to Bannu from Mirpur Khas district to shift the Tomatoes and police had started manhunt to rescue the person, which resulted in police releasing two other persons while further raids are in process for arrested of more involved accused and release mazda driver and its cleaner. Nasim Bukhari, the PRO SSP Shikarpur, in his statement said that police have fingered out the incidents of kidnapping and both Mazda driver and its cleaner would be recovered as soon as possible to maintain law and order situation in the district and said that SSP Shikarpur Dr Muhammad Rizwan Ahmed Khan has ensured the people of Shikarpur that no one would be allowed to take law into his hand.
