Azerbaijan Armenia Clash

Turkey showed its full support to Azerbaijan over its recent clash with Armenia. In addition to it, Turkey also asked Armenia to leave behind the aggression.

On Sunday (yesterday), the worst clashes since 2016 began between both countries who are having territorial dispute over Nagorno-Karabakh.

It is noted that Turkey is the key ally of Azerbaijan and possesses close linguistic and cultural relations with country. On the other side, they have no diplomatic relations with Armenia.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish President said that his country and its people will support Azerbaijan with all possible means. He also accused Armenia and termed it as a biggest threat to stability and peace in the region.

Hulusi Akar, the Turkish Defence Minister said that the biggest obstacle to stability and peace in the Caucasus is the aggression of Armenia. Ibrahim Kalin, the Turkish presidential spokesman also condemned the clashes and asked the international community to stop the dangerous provocation.
