Pakistan Army joins UN peacekeeping drill ‘Shared Destiny-2021’

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Army has participated in the multinational United Nations Peacekeeping Exercise “Shared Destiny-2021” at Queshan Training Base of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, according to a press statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) directorate on Saturday. “The UN Peacekeeping Exercise ‘Shared Destiny-2021’ was conducted at Queshan Training Base of Chinese People’s Liberation Army. Troops from Pakistan, China, Mongolia and Thailand participated in the multinational event,” said the press statement.  The exercise focused on training for operations executed by UN peacekeepers in different missions. Participation of Pakistani contingent, their level of expertise and Pakistan’s continued large-scale contribution to UN peacekeeping operations was greatly appreciated by all participants, said the ISPR.
