UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has termed the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, a total disaster.
In a statement, he said the Israeli military campaign in Gaza has the highest level of killing and destruction and level of humanitarian aid is totally out of proportion with the needs. Responding to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's claims about Gaza, Antonio Guterres said the two-state solution is the only possible long-term solution for peace in the region. He also emphasized urgency of two-state solution to Palestinian conflict.
